Même celui dont la conduite est mauvaise et saturée de péché—oui, même le meurtrier de sa mère ou de son père—est délivré de tous les péchés s’il s’applique à l’adoration de ce Liṅga même.
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Liṅga of Prabhāsa (tallinga)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī
Scene: A tormented figure burdened by the gravest guilt approaches the liṅga with trembling hands; as he begins worship—offering bilva and water—his posture straightens, and a cleansing light surrounds him.
Sincere devotion expressed through liṅga-worship is presented as a supreme means of purification, surpassing the weight of even extreme transgressions.
Prabhāsakṣetra’s Vṛṣabheśvara/Kalpaliṅga, within the Ekādaśa-rudra Māhātmya.
Liṅgārādhana—focused worship/service of the Liṅga (pūjā, upacāras, mantra, offerings) with sincere intent.
