Transliteration

āśvayukchuklapakṣe yā aṣṭamī mūlasaṃyutā | sā mahānāmikā prāṇā yeṣāṃ tasyāṃ gatāḥ śubhe

Translation

Ô Bienheureuse, le huitième jour de la quinzaine claire d’Āśvayuja, lorsqu’il est conjoint à la nakṣatra Mūla, est nommé « Mahānāmikā ». Bienheureux ceux dont le souffle vital s’en va ce jour-là.
