Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī
Scene: Śiva, pleased, appears before the ascetic Niśākara and offers a boon; the moment is luminous—moonlight and divine radiance mingle around the liṅga shrine.
Austerity offered with devotion draws divine grace; the Lord responds personally to sincere spiritual effort.
Prabhāsa Kṣetra (Somnātha), since the Moon’s boon narrative culminates in the shrine’s fame and name.
Tapas and worship are implied as the discipline leading to grace; no specific external rite is enumerated here.
