ततः सप्तदशे कल्पे पितृकल्पे तु विश्रुता । दक्षस्य दुहिता जाता सतीनाम्नी महाप्रभा
tataḥ saptadaśe kalpe pitṛkalpe tu viśrutā | dakṣasya duhitā jātā satīnāmnī mahāprabhā
Puis, au dix-septième kalpa—célèbre comme le Pitṛ-kalpa—tu naquis fille de Dakṣa, la Grande Rayonnante, et tu fus renommée sous le nom de Satī.
