Tirtha: Hiraṇyā-uttara (north sector of Hiraṇyā)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva (Īśvara) instructs Pārvatī, pointing northward toward a river named Hiraṇyā; along the bank are luminous hermitages and subtle siddha figures in meditation, with small liṅga shrines dotting the landscape.
Seek out sanctified places associated with realized sages, because such siddhi-sthānas intensify faith and spiritual attainment.
The Prabhāsa-kṣetra region, specifically the northern area connected with Hiraṇyā and its siddhi-sthānas.
A pilgrimage instruction: ‘one should go’ (gacchet) to the northern side of Hiraṇyā to approach the siddhi-sthānas.
