Tirtha: Śāṇḍilyā-vāpī (at Nārāyaṇa-tīrtha)
Type: kund
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: At a carved stepwell, a pativratā woman on Ṛṣi-pañcamī bathes and offers flowers/water to a sage-icon of Śāṇḍilya; attendants hold vessels; repeated ritual touching and rinsing is depicted as careful, reverent action.
Ritual purity and disciplined observance (vrata) are portrayed as means to remove fear and restore confidence in dharmic life.
The bathing-place and worship context tied to Nārāyaṇa-tīrtha and the Śāṇḍilyā vāpī (associated with Śāṇḍilya).
Snāna at the site, vidhivat worship of Śāṇḍilya, and observance of Ṛṣi-pañcamī with prescribed rite, aimed at alleviating rajas-doṣa related fear.
