Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 4

सूत उवाच । तस्य तद्वचनं श्रुत्वा विस्मिता गिरिजा सती । उवाच तं द्विजश्रेष्ठाः प्रचलच्चंद्रशेखरम्

sūta uvāca | tasya tadvacanaṃ śrutvā vismitā girijā satī | uvāca taṃ dvijaśreṣṭhāḥ pracalaccaṃdraśekharam

Sūta dit : Ayant entendu ces paroles, Satī—Girijā—fut saisie d’émerveillement. Alors elle s’adressa au Seigneur au croissant de lune, le plus éminent des « deux-fois-nés » par l’excellence spirituelle, dont les mèches nattées étaient en mouvement.
