Type: kshetra
Listener: Purāṇic interlocutor(s)
Scene: Close focus on Mada’s dreadful mouth: massive fangs like white cliffs; one jaw planted on earth, the other arcing into the sky; tiny figures and sacrificial posts appear between the jaws, emphasizing scale and terror.
Adharmic power becomes monstrous and all-consuming, symbolically spanning earth to heaven and threatening cosmic order.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, where the narrative magnifies the sacred setting through cosmic descriptions.
