patyarthaṃ devagarbhābhe mā vṛthā yauvanaṃ kṛthāḥ | evamuktā sukanyā sā surau tāvidamabravīt
Ô jeune fille au rayonnement de beauté divine, ne laisse pas ta jeunesse se perdre en vain pour un époux. Ainsi interpellée, Sukanyā adressa ces paroles aux deux dieux.
