प्रतिग्रहनिवृत्तस्य यात्रादशगुणं फलम् । तेन दत्तानि दानानि यज्ञैर्देवाः सुतर्पिताः
pratigrahanivṛttasya yātrādaśaguṇaṃ phalam | tena dattāni dānāni yajñairdevāḥ sutarpitāḥ
Pour celui qui s’abstient d’accepter des dons, le fruit du pèlerinage devient dix fois plus grand. Par les aumônes qu’il donne, les dieux sont pleinement rassasiés comme par des sacrifices (yajñas).
