ईश्वर उवाच । ततो गच्छेन्महादेवि सूर्यप्राचीं महाप्रभाम् । सर्वपापोपशमनीं सर्वकामफलप्रदाम्
īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi sūryaprācīṃ mahāprabhām | sarvapāpopaśamanīṃ sarvakāmaphalapradām
Īśvara dit : Ensuite, ô Grande Déesse, qu’on se rende à Sūryaprācī, rayonnante d’une grande splendeur, elle qui apaise tous les péchés et accorde le fruit de tout désir légitime.

Scene: Śiva instructs Devī to proceed to the radiant Sūryaprācī; the tīrtha glows with sunrise light, with pilgrims offering arghya as sins are pacified and rightful wishes are blessed.
Pilgrimage to a revealed tīrtha is portrayed as a dharmic path for purification and the fulfilment of legitimate aims of life.
