īśvara uvāca | tato gacchenmahādevi camasodbhedamuttamam | yatra brahmā'karotsatraṃ varṣāṇāmayutaṃ priye
Īśvara dit : « Ensuite, ô grande Déesse, rends-toi au suprême lieu saint nommé Camasodbheda, où Brahmā, ô bien-aimée, accomplit jadis une session sacrificielle durant dix mille ans. »
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Camasodbheda
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva (Īśvara) instructs Devī on a pilgrimage route; in the background, a luminous tīrtha named Camasodbheda with a Vedic altar where Brahmā presides over a long satra, fires blazing steadily.
Pilgrimage is sanctified by the presence of ancient yajñas; visiting such a site connects the devotee to enduring Vedic merit.
The tīrtha named Camasodbheda within Prabhāsa Kṣetra.
A directive to go/visit (tīrtha-yātrā); the verse also recalls Brahmā’s long satra-yajña as the site’s sanctifying basis.
