Īśvara (Śiva) (contextual attribution within Prabhāsakṣetra Māhātmya)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (Someśvara)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Inquirer receiving the full vidhāna
Scene: A two-register cosmic tableau: below, the devotee completes the Somavāra rite at Someśvara; above, the soul ascends to Śiva’s realm, luminous and serene, with vast celestial pleasures extending across kalpas, ending at the horizon of pralaya.
Correctly performed sacred observance yields both bhoga (merit-based enjoyment) and the higher goal—Śiva-gati (attainment of Śiva).
Prabhāsa Kṣetra, through the vrata connected with Someśvara.
It refers to performing the vrata ‘according to the prescribed procedure’ (vidhāna) taught in the chapter.
