Tirtha: Sūrya-daivata Ravi-kṣetra (within Prabhāsa)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī (Pārvatī)
Scene: At the gate of a sun-shrine precinct, a guardian-priest gestures that only Sūrya-devotees may enter; sincere pilgrims offer arghya as sunlight streams in, while indifferent visitors remain outside.
Approach a tīrtha with the appropriate devotion; sacred geography is entered not merely by feet but by bhakti—here, devotion to Sūrya.
Prabhāsakṣetra (Prabhāsa), described within the Prabhāsa Khaṇḍa’s Prabhāsakṣetra Māhātmya.
A behavioral injunction: do not enter the sacred locale without Sūrya-devotion (sūrya-bhakti).
