देवा ऊचुः । दशानामश्वमेधानां श्रद्धया फलमाप्स्यति । दशाश्वमेधिकंनाम तीर्थमेतन्महीतले । ख्यातिं यास्यति राजेंद्र नात्र कार्या विचारणा
devā ūcuḥ | daśānāmaśvamedhānāṃ śraddhayā phalamāpsyati | daśāśvamedhikaṃnāma tīrthametanmahītale | khyātiṃ yāsyati rājeṃdra nātra kāryā vicāraṇā
Les dieux dirent : «Avec la foi, on obtient assurément le fruit de dix Aśvamedha. Ce tīrtha sur la terre sera connu sous le nom de Daśāśvamedhika. Ô meilleur des rois, il atteindra la renommée — nul besoin d’hésiter.»
