Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Jāmbavatī-nadī
Type: sangam
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Īśvara addresses Devī, directing her to the Jāmbavatī river; the narrative then shifts to a remembered scene where Jāmbavatī questions Arjuna, urging truthful disclosure.
Sacred geography is taught through narrative memory: the holiness of a river-tīrtha is anchored in exemplary lives and truthful inquiry.
