Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva instructs Pārvatī, pointing toward the southern quarter where a liṅga shrine stands; the liṅga is shown with Indra offering flowers and water, emphasizing expiation and grace.
Sacred geography is mapped through divine landmarks: approaching a named liṅga at Prabhāsa is itself framed as a path to purification.
Pāpamocana-liṅga in Prabhāsa-kṣetra, located south of the Puruṣottama landmark.
A pilgrimage instruction: ‘go’ to the Indra-established liṅga called Pāpamocana.
