prasādāttava viprendra mukto'haṃ pretayonitaḥ | svasti te'stu gamiṣyāmi vimānaṃ me hyupasthitam
Liberated preta (appearing in dream)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (Hareḥ-gṛha context)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Viprottama / brāhmaṇa (ritual agent)
Scene: In the dream, the freed being appears radiant, no longer ghastly; behind him a shining vimāna waits in the sky. He blesses the brāhmaṇa and departs upward, leaving a trail of light.
Grace expressed through dharmic rites can transform a bound state into liberation, depicted as ascent in a vimāna.
The liberation is narrated within Prabhāsakṣetra Māhātmya, connected to śrāddha performed at a Vaiṣṇava sacred locus.
The verse reflects the fruit of śrāddha; the prescription is the performance of śrāddha by a qualified brāhmaṇa.
