Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Kauśikeśvara
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahādevī (Pārvatī)
Scene: Śiva instructs Devī about the Prabhāsa pilgrimage map: from Kaśyapeśvara, eight dhanu to the northeast lies the Kauśikeśvara liṅga, radiant and purifying, set amid coastal sacred groves and pilgrims moving in procession.
The kṣetra is mapped as a living sacred landscape where approaching specific Śiva-liṅgas grants purification from grave sins.
