Soma (Candra)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Śaunaka and sages
Scene: Soma openly confesses awareness of the deed that led to the curse and begs Dakṣa for favor; the emotional focus is on confession and supplication.
Even the exalted must bow with humility; grace (anugraha) is sought through sincere repentance and right understanding of karma.
The broader narrative belongs to Prabhāsa-kṣetra (Prabhāsakṣetramāhātmya), where Śiva’s grace becomes the ultimate refuge.
None directly; the verse emphasizes supplication and seeking favor as a dharmic response to suffering.
