आह चैनमृषिः पुत्रं दृष्ट्वा ब्राह्मणमागतम् । अभिवाद्यास्त्रयो वर्णास्ततः श्रेयो ह्यवाप्स्यसि
āha cainamṛṣiḥ putraṃ dṛṣṭvā brāhmaṇamāgatam | abhivādyāstrayo varṇāstataḥ śreyo hyavāpsyasi
Et le sage dit à son fils : «Quand tu vois arriver un brāhmaṇa, offre-lui des salutations respectueuses. En honorant les trois varṇa, tu obtiendras assurément le bien et la prospérité.»
