Skanda (deduced from Prabhāsa-kṣetra Māhātmya didactic narration context)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: A greedy ascetic reaches out insistently for a gift; a wise donor gently withdraws and instead offers to a serene, self-controlled mendicant or to a feeding hall, illustrating pātra-vicāra.
Renunciation is incompatible with greed; discernment is required in giving.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra provides the sacred setting; the verse teaches standards for righteous giving within that pilgrimage ethos.
A dāna restriction: do not give to an ascetic who begs out of greed.
