Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 38

मुमुचुः शरवर्षाणि वारिधारां यथा घनाः । तेषां हस्ती गणेनाथ शूलेन हृदि भेदितः

mumucuḥ śaravarṣāṇi vāridhārāṃ yathā ghanāḥ | teṣāṃ hastī gaṇenātha śūlena hṛdi bheditaḥ

Ils déchaînèrent des averses de flèches, tels des nuages versant des nappes de pluie. Alors, un éléphant de leur troupe fut transpercé au cœur par un Gaṇa armé d’un trident.
