Skanda Purana — Prabhasa Khanda, Shloka 93

जज्ञे पुनःपुनर्विष्णुः कर्त्तुं धर्मव्यवस्थितिम् । धर्मान्नारायणः साध्यः संभूतश्चाक्षुषेंतरे

jajñe punaḥpunarviṣṇuḥ karttuṃ dharmavyavasthitim | dharmānnārāyaṇaḥ sādhyaḥ saṃbhūtaścākṣuṣeṃtare

Ainsi, Viṣṇu naquit maintes et maintes fois afin de rétablir l’ordre du Dharma. Du Dharma se manifesta Nārāyaṇa—en tant que Sādhya—et il s’éleva durant le Manvantara de Cākṣuṣa.
