प्राणात्प्रजापतेर्जन्म तस्य दक्षस्य कीर्तितम् । अस्मिन्मन्वन्तरे देवि दक्षः प्राचेतसोऽभवत्
prāṇātprajāpaterjanma tasya dakṣasya kīrtitam | asminmanvantare devi dakṣaḥ prācetaso'bhavat
On raconte que Dakṣa naquit du souffle vital (prāṇa) de Prajāpati. Et dans ce Manvantara, ô Devī, Dakṣa fut connu sous le nom de Prācetasa.
