Gāyatrī (personified Devī)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Scene: At a Prabhāsa altar, dvija-sattamas perform homa; nearby, pilgrims give dāna. Above, Sāvitrī’s presence is hinted as a radiant figure, while a boon-bestowing deity gestures, signifying that offerings here become inexhaustible.
A sacred place can transform acts of giving and offering into inexhaustible merit when sanctioned by divine decree.
Prabhāsa Kṣetra—where dāna and homa are declared akṣaya (imperishable in result).
Perform dāna (charity) and homa (fire-offerings) in this kṣetra for akṣaya-puṇya.
