Type: kshetra
Scene: A temple threshold scene: priests and disciplined residents maintain sanctity around the Bala-Brahmā icon; a remorseful sinner is held back, indicating the need for purification before touch.
Sacred worship requires moral and ritual fitness; grave wrongdoing disrupts eligibility for intimate temple contact.
Prabhāsakṣetra, with emphasis on the sanctity of Brahmā’s bāla-rūpa worship and its strict proprieties.
A restriction: those branded as mahāpātakins or formally excluded are not to touch the deity (Brahmā in child-form).
