Skanda (deduced from Dvārakā Māhātmya discourse context)
Tirtha: Gomatī–samudra-saṅgama (Dvārakā)
Type: sangam
Scene: Dvija pilgrims at the Gomatī ghāṭ perform snāna, then offer tarpaṇa with añjali of water and sesame, while others distribute dāna to brāhmaṇas; the sea and river meet in the background with temple spires visible.
Right timing (specific observance days) strengthens dharmic acts like bathing, charity, and ancestral offerings.
Within the ongoing Dvārakā Māhātmya praise of the Gomātī–ocean confluence, though this verse emphasizes calendrical observances.
Snāna, dāna, and pitṛ-tarpaṇa to be performed on Pañcakā and Aṣṭakā days.
