Skanda (deduced from Dvārakā Māhātmya discourse context)
Tirtha: Gomātī–Udadhi-saṅgama
Type: sangam
Scene: Pilgrims bathe at dawn at the saṅgama; one devotee stands waist-deep offering tarpaṇa with cupped hands, sesame and water flowing back into the confluence; the horizon glows with Yugādi sunrise.
Auspicious time (yugādi) and sacred place (saṅgama) together amplify rites for ancestors, yielding imperishable spiritual results.
Gomātī-udadhi-saṅgama near Dvārakā.
Snāna at the confluence and pitṛ-tarpaṇa (offerings to ancestors), especially on yugādi days.
