ब्रह्मस्वहारिणः पापास्तथा देवस्वहारिणः । स्नानमात्रेण शुद्ध्यंति गोमत्यां नात्र संशयः
brahmasvahāriṇaḥ pāpāstathā devasvahāriṇaḥ | snānamātreṇa śuddhyaṃti gomatyāṃ nātra saṃśayaḥ
Même ceux souillés par le péché d’avoir dérobé les biens des brāhmaṇas, et de même ceux qui volent les biens du temple ou du Divin, sont purifiés par le seul bain dans la Gomatī — il n’y a là aucun doute.
