Type: kshetra
Scene: A night-time assembly in Dvārakā: devotees seated with lamps, listening to a reciter narrate Dvārakā-māhātmya; the sea breeze, temple spire, and Kṛṣṇa’s presence felt. A calendar cue: Vaiśākha moon and ‘Jayantī’ vigil atmosphere.
Hearing sacred-place glorification (māhātmya-śravaṇa) is itself a potent devotional act, intensified by auspicious calendrical times.
Dvārakā, explicitly through its māhātmya.
Listening to Dvārakā Māhātmya, particularly in Vaiśākha and during the Jayantī night-vigil (jāgara).
