तस्यां हि गोमतीस्नानं द्विषङ्गोदावरीफलम् । अवगाहिता प्रयत्नेन सिंहांते गौतमी सकृत्

Transliteration

tasyāṃ hi gomatīsnānaṃ dviṣaṅgodāvarīphalam | avagāhitā prayatnena siṃhāṃte gautamī sakṛt

Translation

En cette circonstance, se baigner dans la Gomati confère le fruit d’un mérite double de celui, fameux, de la Godāvarī. Celui qui, avec effort, s’immerge ne fût‑ce qu’une fois dans la Gautamī à la fin de Siṃha (le Lion) obtient ce même fruit.
