इति साऽतिविलप्य दुःखितार्था कुररीतुल्यतया शुशोच वेगात् । विरहेण विघूर्णिताशया द्विजशापापहता मुमूर्च्छ सद्यः
iti sā'tivilapya duḥkhitārthā kurarītulyatayā śuśoca vegāt | viraheṇa vighūrṇitāśayā dvijaśāpāpahatā mumūrccha sadyaḥ
Ainsi, après s’être longuement lamentée dans sa douleur, elle fut saisie d’un chagrin soudain, telle l’oiseau kurarī. L’esprit bouleversé par la séparation et terrassée par la malédiction d’un brāhmaṇa, elle s’évanouit aussitôt.
