Type: kshetra
Scene: Flashback juxtaposition: the devotee performing severe tapas (fasting, standing, prayer) and then the present scene of empty arms, counting days—five dawns passing—still alive in grief.
Austerity may yield blessings, yet attachment can still bring sorrow; endurance becomes part of the devotee’s trial.
The verse belongs to Dvārakā Māhātmya, keeping the sacred geography of Dvārakā in view.
Tapas (austerity) is referenced generally, without a specific vrata, mantra, or procedure.
