FAQs

Dvārakā is presented as a timeless spiritual standard: the merit of all rivers and tīrthas is declared comparable when measured against the sanctity attributed to Dvārakā.

Dvārakā is the central site being exalted, with the Gaṅgā and all earthly rivers invoked as points of comparison.

No direct prescription; the verse is doctrinal, asserting equivalence of merit across tīrthas and times.
