(Gomatī-sāgara-saṅgama)
Type: sangam
Scene: At the river-mouth where the Gomati meets the sea, a devotee performs śrāddha with piṇḍa and water-libations; waves, conch-sounds, and distant temple spires frame the rite; subtle presence of pitṛs receiving offerings.
Proper ancestral rites performed at an exalted tīrtha multiply in potency, granting enduring benefit to one’s lineage and forefathers.
Gomatī–udadhi-saṅgama: the confluence where the Gomati meets the ocean near Dvārakā.
Performing śrāddha at the Gomati–ocean confluence is prescribed as supremely efficacious for Pitṛ-tṛpti.
