चन्द्रशर्मोवाच । यदि तात मयाऽज्ञानान्न कृतं द्वादशीव्रतम् । कस्मात्कृतं सशल्यं तु भवद्भिर्द्वादशीव्रतम्
candraśarmovāca | yadi tāta mayā'jñānānna kṛtaṃ dvādaśīvratam | kasmātkṛtaṃ saśalyaṃ tu bhavadbhirdvādaśīvratam
Candraśarman dit : «Père, si par ignorance je n’ai pas accompli le vœu de Dvādaśī, pourquoi donc avez-vous observé le vœu de Dvādaśī avec une “épine”, c’est-à-dire avec une tache, un défaut ?»
