दण्डवत्प्रणमेद्भूमौ नमः कृष्णप्रियेति च । विप्रपत्नीश्च विप्रांश्च पूजयेच्छक्तितो द्विजाः
daṇḍavatpraṇamedbhūmau namaḥ kṛṣṇapriyeti ca | viprapatnīśca viprāṃśca pūjayecchaktito dvijāḥ
Qu’on se prosterne entièrement à terre (daṇḍavat) en disant : «Hommage à toi, ô bien-aimée de Kṛṣṇa». Et, selon ses moyens, ô deux-fois-nés, qu’on honore les épouses des brāhmanes ainsi que les brāhmanes eux-mêmes.
