तर्पयेत्पितृदेवांश्च ऋषींश्चैव यथाक्रमम् । श्राद्धं च कारयेत्तत्र पितॄणां तृप्तिहेतवे
tarpayetpitṛdevāṃśca ṛṣīṃścaiva yathākramam | śrāddhaṃ ca kārayettatra pitṝṇāṃ tṛptihetave
Là, l’on doit offrir le tarpaṇa aux Pitṛs, aux Devas et aux Ṛṣis selon l’ordre prescrit; et l’on doit aussi y faire accomplir le śrāddha afin de contenter les ancêtres.

Scene: On the tīrtha bank, a devotee performs tarpaṇa with cupped hands, sesame and water flowing; nearby, brāhmaṇas sit for śrāddha with darbha grass, vessels, and offerings; atmosphere solemn and orderly.
Pilgrimage is complete when paired with gratitude to ancestors and cosmic beings through ordered offerings and śrāddha.
The instruction applies to the tīrtha being visited in this sequence (contextually Gadā-tīrtha and its vicinity in Dvārakā Māhātmya).
Perform tarpaṇa to Pitṛs/Devas/Ṛṣis in sequence and arrange śrāddha for Pitṛ-tṛpti.
