ब्राह्मण उवाच । मयापि राजतो लब्धा ममेयं गौर्न संशयः । कथं नयसि विप्र त्वं मयि जीवति मन्दिरम्
brāhmaṇa uvāca | mayāpi rājato labdhā mameyaṃ gaurna saṃśayaḥ | kathaṃ nayasi vipra tvaṃ mayi jīvati mandiram
Le brāhmane dit : «Moi aussi, je l’ai reçue du roi ; cette vache est à moi, sans aucun doute. Comment peux-tu, ô brāhmane, la mener chez toi alors que je suis encore en vie ?»
