Transliteration

tatra yāvo'dya bhadraṃ te vayasya vinayānvita | etatkāryamahaṃ manye sāṃprataṃ dvijasaṃbhavam

Translation

Allons-y dès aujourd’hui—bénédiction sur toi, ami de mon âge, plein de retenue. Je tiens cette œuvre pour opportune à présent, née d’un dessein de dharma propre aux brāhmaṇas.
