कथमस्य मया कार्यो निग्रहो देवताकृते । पुनश्चिंतयते यावत्सा देवी दानवं प्रति । तावत्तत्रागतः शीघ्रं स कामेन परिप्लुतः
kathamasya mayā kāryo nigraho devatākṛte | punaściṃtayate yāvatsā devī dānavaṃ prati | tāvattatrāgataḥ śīghraṃ sa kāmena pariplutaḥ
«Comment pourrais-je le contenir et le dompter pour le bien des dieux ?» Tandis que la Déesse méditait ainsi au sujet du dānava, il arriva promptement en ce lieu, submergé et poussé par le désir.
