देवा ऊचुः । कलिंगेन वयं देवि निरस्ताः संगरे मुहुः । तेन व्याप्तमिदं सर्वं त्रैलोक्यं सचराचरम्
devā ūcuḥ | kaliṃgena vayaṃ devi nirastāḥ saṃgare muhuḥ | tena vyāptamidaṃ sarvaṃ trailokyaṃ sacarācaram
Les devas dirent : Ô Déesse, Kaliṅga nous a maintes fois repoussés au combat. Par lui, tout ceci — les trois mondes entiers, avec le mobile et l’immobile — a été envahi et submergé.
