चितिं कृत्वा समं तेन ज्वालयामास पावकम् । अथ ते मुनयो दृष्ट्वा तथाशीलां शुभांगनाम्
citiṃ kṛtvā samaṃ tena jvālayāmāsa pāvakam | atha te munayo dṛṣṭvā tathāśīlāṃ śubhāṃganām
Ayant dressé un bûcher funéraire égal au sien, elle y alluma le feu. Alors ces sages, voyant cette femme vertueuse aux membres de bon augure, si ferme dans sa conduite, la regardèrent avec inquiétude.
