Type: kshetra
Scene: Garuḍa, radiant and eagle-faced, stands as Viṣṇu’s beloved vāhana; the chariot’s banner rises with Garuḍa-emblem at the forefront, suggesting perpetual guardianship and auspicious victory.
The highest honour is divine service: Garuḍa’s greatness culminates in devoted proximity to Viṣṇu.
The Suparṇa-associated tīrtha is indirectly glorified by celebrating Garuḍa’s supreme status as Viṣṇu’s vāhana, a hallmark of the māhātmya.
No explicit ritual instruction; the verse is devotional praise (stuti) highlighting Garuḍa’s sacred role.
