Transliteration

| sūta uvāca | purā kalpe bhagavatā etatkṣetramanuttamam | rudreṇa brahmaṇe dattaṃ tuṣṭena dvijasattamāḥ

Sūta dit : Dans un kalpa ancien, ô le meilleur des deux-fois-nés, ce kṣetra incomparable fut accordé par Rudra, satisfait, à Brahmā.
