Type: kshetra
Scene: A temple rite in progress: devotees worship Skanda and all deities, but on Ṣaṣṭhī they place special offerings to Skanda’s Śakti—depicted as the spear/vel on a pedestal—amid lamps, incense, and chanting.
Faithful, scheduled worship—especially on sacred lunar days—intensifies devotion and anchors a tīrtha’s living tradition.
Skandapura/Camatkārapura, where Skanda’s Śakti receives special veneration.
Perform reverential worship in all rites, with special Śakti-pūjā on Ṣaṣṭhī (the sixth lunar day), done with śraddhā.
