ऋतु स्नातां तु यो भार्यां संनिधौ नोपगच्छति । घोरायां भ्रूणहत्यायां युज्यते नात्र संशयः
ṛtu snātāṃ tu yo bhāryāṃ saṃnidhau nopagacchati | ghorāyāṃ bhrūṇahatyāyāṃ yujyate nātra saṃśayaḥ
«Mais celui qui n’approche pas son épouse, baignée et prête en la saison du ṛtu, même lorsqu’elle est tout près, encourt le terrible péché de fœticide ; là-dessus, nul doute.»
