Sūta (continuing narration)
Tirtha: Bhṛgupāta
Type: ghat
Scene: A leprosy-afflicted man, shunned by family and wife, walks alone with a staff toward a rugged riverbank/ghāṭa called Bhṛgupāta, his face softened by dispassion.
Suffering can awaken vairāgya, redirecting a person from worldly reliance to tīrtha-seeking and inner reform.
Bhṛgupāta, presented as a named sacred place within the Nāgarakhaṇḍa’s tīrtha framework.
Pilgrimage/approach to Bhṛgupāta is implied as the next step of seeking relief and purification after remorse and detachment.
