Skanda Purana — Nagara Khanda, Shloka 70

ऊचुश्च पार्थिवश्रेष्ठ न त्वमर्हसि संगमम् । कर्तुं सार्धमिहास्माभिर्ब्रह्महत्या न्वितो यतः

ūcuśca pārthivaśreṣṭha na tvamarhasi saṃgamam | kartuṃ sārdhamihāsmābhirbrahmahatyā nvito yataḥ

Ils dirent : « Ô le meilleur des rois, tu n’es pas digne de t’associer et de te mêler ici à nous, car tu es souillé par le péché de brahmahatyā (meurtre d’un brahmane). »
